Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to join their
Data Engineering Team and lead the development of data solutions
and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical evolution of data engineering capabilities and
ensure timely delivery of solutions
Direct and coordinate technical work across data engineering,
focusing on productivity improvements
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance and
feedback for team growth
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role as an individual
contributor
At least 2 years of experience as a tech lead for a Data
Engineering team
Experience with building streaming pipelines and micro-services
architecture
Familiarity with data infrastructure, including SQL, Spark, and
column stores like Redshift
Experience with AWS data services and large-scale data processing
systems
