Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.Our West geography is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to play a vital role on a variety of exciting site development and civil infrastructure projects. This position can be based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, or Seattle.The Opportunity:

• Lead design of site development, utilities, roadway, drainage and other key elements of civil engineering projects
• Oversee the production of design documents and lead a team of civil engineers working on a variety of projects
• Work with local agencies to understand their land use and permit processes
• Coordinate with associated disciplines including SMEP, architecture and landscape architecture, geotechnical engineering, transportation planning, urban planning, environmental engineering, and cost engineering
• Perform construction phase engineering support and site supervision
• Participate in proposal writing and marketing activities
• Develop relationships with existing clients and project collaborators
• Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor staff and provide training to junior technical staffIs the role right for you?
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
  • California Professional Engineering license preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in civil engineering/site development
  • Knowledge of core civil engineering fundamentals such as hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, low impact development, utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway and geometric alignments, and accessibility standards.
  • Working knowledge of civil engineering design and analysis software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Experience managing project delivery and interfacing with contractors, project owners, and outside consultants
  • A commitment to sustainable design practices

This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
