Position Details:
Title: Customer Engineer
Location: Remote or various Site Based locations
Shift or Travel: Primarily M-F Day Shift with some variation based on client needs and projects
Compensation: $60-70k+ based on experience and locality, plus OT. Per diem and other compensation for travel

Travel: 10% for Site Based roles, 80% for Remote roles

Position Description:

Troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus. Perform as "lead" on projects. Perform all aspects of testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems, including troubleshooting capabilities, simple relay calibration, use of load recording instrumentation, low and medium voltage switchgear testing through 15 kV class.

Requirements:
Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent and with work experience
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as OSHA and NFPA
Passed NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) exam or ability to do so
Strong background and experience in all types of switchgear testing through the 15 kV class
Understanding of electrical theory and electrical power systems
Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally
Strong computer skills
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night work. Must be available for out of-town and international travel
