Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medical policy implementation and expand medical management
programs
Support Medical Management staff with timely responses to members
and providers
Conduct utilization review, quality assurance, and provide clinical
expertise in medical management programs
Required Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in Health Care Delivery System
Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized
specialty
Post-graduate direct patient care experience
Preferred: Previous UM experience with a Health Plan / Payor
