Acoustics, Audiovisual, Theatre, and Experience Design team (AAVTX)
is growing, and we are seeking experienced audiovisual design
consultants. This role can be based out of our Los Angeles or
Seattle offices.Do you thrive in environments where scientific

Acoustical Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a
better world, contributing to the design of exceptional spaces for
clients ranging from renowned concert halls and recording studios
to innovative corporate offices, and cutting-edge educational
institutions.This isn't just a job; it's an invitation to

- You have experience with delivering all multiple aspects of a
project - technical, client care, financial, and team
leadership
- You thoroughly explore rigorous technical backgrounds, and also
take time to ensure the technical analysis aligns with project
needs

solutions
- Work in conjunction with the Project Director to ensure
commercial success across projects
- Prepare and present technical documentation and project

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,
understanding their unique needs and prioritiesIs the role right
for you
- Bachelor's degree in acoustics or architectural engineering OR
a related degree in music, architecture, physics, engineering,
computer science, sound reproduction, sound recording, with strong
demonstrated experience in acoustics
- 5 + years of relevant experience in acoustic design
- Strong fundamentals in acoustics, fundamentals of vibration,
engineering acoustics, noise control, digital signal processing,
electroacoustics, human responses to acoustics and vibration
- Proficiency with specialist technical equipment and software
such as B&K, CATT, EASE, Odeon, Max/MSP, AutoCad, Revit, Rhino,
Sketchup
- Candidates with additional experience in music, composition,
electronic music, recording, 3D sound, live sound, production are

good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in
Los Angeles is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. This range is
commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill

hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Los Angeles
