weeks of paid training to prepare you to pass your RBT exam. MeBe

goals.About What Youll Work On:Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a
group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant
social, communication, mental health and behavioral
challenges.Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is
described as a developmental disorder because symptoms generally
appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a
wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best
treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like
MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination
of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental
Health)As a Behavior Technician,You'll teach and nurture
behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1
setting to kiddos with autism at MeBes Learning Center and Camp
Pendleton. You'll be required to receive a Camp Pendleton Base
PassYoull follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help
increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play
skills.Youll relay info on your kiddos progress to BCBAs to keep
them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.At the end of each
session, youll accurately record the kiddos behavior analysis and
progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your
work assigned tablet.Youll be responsible for clocking in,
submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict
ABA and Insurance provider regulations.Youll help keep our
workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.Youll help our
kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.Youll
help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and
Clinical Supervisors.Youll voice questions, issues and concerns to
your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment
planning.Youll help to build positive relationships with families
while maintaining professional boundaries.Youll positively
contribute to the MeBe Family culture.Qualifications:Consistent
availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts
available.Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's
license and reliable transportation.RBT/ CBT certification
preferred. Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of
employment (MeBe will help you!)Prefer a background in child care;
teaching, counseling, babysitting.Ability to frequently bend, lift
(up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run, (without reasonable
accommodations), see with prescription lenses, and hear with
hearing aids.Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is
preferredAbility to pass a background check.Ability to work with
computers.If residing in CA, AZ, or VA, must obtain CPR/BLS
certification before working with clientsMust have at minimum a
high school diploma or equivalent- required. A bachelors degree in
areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is
